Ioannis Papoutsis received his diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and his M.Sc. in Technologies for Broadband Communication from the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering of University College London (UCL) in 2002 and 2003 respectively.
Dr. Panagiotis Kosmopoulos is an Associate Researcher at the National Observatory of Athens. He received his B.Sc. in Geology and M.Sc. in Environmental Physics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a Ph.D. in Solar Radiation and Energy Forecasting from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Bartsotas Nikolaos (Nikos) received his B.Sc. degree from the Physics Department of the University of Athens, followed by a M.Sc. in Environmental Physics / Meteorology and a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Modeling and Remote Sensing.
Alexia Tsouni received her diploma in Civil Engineering (2001) from the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), which is equivalent to Master of Engineering, with specialization in Water Resources, Hydraulic and Maritime Engineering. She also holds a M.Sc. in Water Resources Science and Technology (2003) from the School of Civil Engineering of NTUA
Themistocles Herekakis graduated in 2003 from the Technological Educational Institution of Athens, with a degree in Electronic Engineering and an M.Sc. degree in Advanced Informatics Computing Systems. He is working at IAASARS/NOA as a research associate, since August 2004
Alexis Apostolakis got his engineering diploma from Electrical Engineer and Computer Engineer faculty at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 1993. His diploma thesis was in the sector of Reinforcement Learning with Neural Networks
Eleni Christia received her diploma in Environmental Cartography from the University of Aegean in 2004. She holds a Master of Science (MSc.) in Environmental Policy and Management from University of Aegean (2007).
Mirka Rossi graduated in 2000 from ST.GEORGE Independent Studies - Commercial College, she completed her studies in English-Greek Executive Secretarial and Administration Course for Personal Assistants.
Maria (Marietta) Papakonstantinou is a PhD candidate at the University of Patras. She graduated from the School of Philosophy at the University of Athens and since 2013 holds an M.A. in Heritage Management (summa cum laude) co-organized by Athens University of Economics and Business and University of Kent
Dora Perrou is currently a PhD candidate in Satellite Remote Sensing at the Harokopio University of Athens (HUA). She holds a BSc degree in Surveying Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and a MSc in Applied Geography and Spatial Planning (Course: Management of Natural and Human Induced Disasters) from the Harokopio University of Athens.
Mr. Anastasios TRYPITSIDIS is being a motivated Project Manager | Msc Engineer with incessant interest in the wide range of managing projects. He has more than 5 years’ experience on managing and implementing of national, international and funding (e.g. EUREKA-Eurostars, GSRT, FP7, H2020 etc.) projects (involved in more than 16 projects)
Vassilis Sitokonstantinou received his BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London, in 2013. The following year he graduated from University College London (UCL) with an MSc in Wireless and Optical Communications.
Stella Girtsou is currently a M.Sc student in Space Science Technologies and Applications programme of the National Observatory of Athens and the department of Informatics and Telecommunications of University of Peloponnese. In 2017 she received her Diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
Stavroula Alatza holds a degree in Surveying Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She is a PhD student on SAR interferometry for monitoring Earth deformation, in School of Rural and Surveying Engineering of NTUA.
Angelos Zavras holds a BSc degree in Informatics and Telematics from the Harokopio University of Athens. He is currently working toward a MSc degree in Data Science from the University of Peloponnese, in collaboration with the National Centre for Scientific Research "Demokritos".
Mariza Kaskara received her diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (2015), with specialization in Satellite Geodesy and Remote Sensing. She holds an M.Sc. in Project and Enterprise Management from University College London (2017).
Mrs. Katerina Kyratzi holds a BSc in Geology & Geoenvironment from the University of Athens (2011-2015), an MSc in Geoinformatics from the National Technical University of Athens (2015-2017) and an MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business (2016-2018).
Anastasis Katsos was born in Athens in 1996. He holds a BSc in Informatics and Telematics from the Harokopio University of Athens. He is currently an MSc student in the field of Geoinformatics of the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
Spyros Kondylatos graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, department of Mathematics in 2013. He received his first MSc in Applied Mathematics from the same University in 2016 and his second MSc in Data Science from the Athens University of Economics and Business in 2017. From 2018-2020 he worked as a Data Scientist in the industry.
Roxanne Suzette Lorilla was born in Athens, Greece in 1992. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Technology and her Master’s degree in Geoinformatics in 2014 and 2016, respectively. She holds a Ph.D. in Geography and Spatial Analysis from the Harokopio University of Athens.
Vasiliki Pagana received her Diploma (5 years Degree, Master equivalent) in Rural and Surveying Engineering (2010) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), with specialization in Hydraulic Engineering. She also holds a M.Sc. Degree in Water Resources Science and Technology (2012) from the School of Civil Engineering of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
: Anastasia Yfantidou completed her undergraduate degree at the Department of Geography at Harokopio University of Athens. She further holds an MSc degree with distinction in “Geoinformatics and Geospatial Technologies” from the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics of Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), where she is currently a PhD Candidate in “Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics and Earth Observation”.
Thanassis Drivas received his BSc in Computer Science from Athens University of Economics and Business in 2007. In 2017 he received his MSc title in Space Science, Technology and Applications from the University of Peloponnese, in collaboration with the National Observatory of Athens.
Alkiviadis Koukos was born in 1993 in Athens, Greece. He received his diploma in the department of Elecrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2018 and he is currently an MSc student in Data Science and Machine Learning also at National Technical University of Athens.
He is an alumnus in Computer Science, Faculty of Information and Communications Technology University of Piraeus. Since 2019 has been working as a system administrator in the Institute of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications & Remote Sensing in the National Observatory of Athens (IAASARS-NOA).
Vassilis Amiridis (VA) was born in Göteborg, Sweden, in 1971. He received his B.Sc. in Physics, M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences and Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 1998, 2000 and 2006, respectively. Since 2006, VA is a Researcher of the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) of the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) in Greece.
Stelios Kazadzis (SK) has 20 years of experience in basic and applied research in Atmospheric Physics. He studied Physics, MSc on atmospheric and environmental Physics and a PhD on solar radiation measurements and applications.
Stavros Solomos was born in Athens, Greece in 1976. He received his B.Sc. in Physics, M.Sc. in Environmental Physics / Meteorology and PhD in Meteorology / Atmospheric Modeling from the University of Athens, Greece in 2001, 2003 and 2011 respectively. Since 2013, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) of the National Observatory of Athens.
