Dr Haris Kontoes, Research Director, National Observatory of Athens and Scientific Director of the Operational Unit BEYOND Center for Earth Observation Research and Satellite Remote Sensing will present "EYWA: An established Early Warning System Expanding to new Frontiers". Moreover, Dr Nikolaos S. Bartsotas, Senior Research Associate, National Observatory of Athens, BEYOND Centre of EO Research & Satellite Remote Sensing will present "Smoke plum tracing through a fusion of numerical weather prediction, satellite remote sensing and dispersion modelling".
