Spotlight on Innovative Pathways: Leveraging #DestinE for Sustainable Energy Solutions
The 3rd Destination Earth (DestinE) User eXchange aimed at building on the momentum and outcomes of the second edition which took place in Bonn last November, offering a platform for scientific community members, as well as public and private entities to build partnerships and learn the potential benefits from using DestinE services.
Our Research Associate, Angelos Georgakis showcased DRE's innovative technologies and their integration with the DestinE platform, emphasizing the significant value they add. A central focus was on incorporating renewable energy solutions to address climate change.
Additionally, DRE introduced its software, HYREF highlighting its architecture and its primary objective for forecasting and visualizing solar and wind power.
Moreover, Angelos presented the poster titled "Destination Renewable Energy: A Hybrid (Solar and Wind) Renewable Energy Application Using DestinE's Platform Data and Services."
His poster effectively captivated the audience, highlighting the innovative integration of solar and wind technologies, sparking discussions about the potential impact on the renewable energy sector.
