BEYOND participated in the UNOOSA symposium on “Integrated Space Technology Applications for Climate Change”, Graz-Austria, 12-14 September 2016 with the invited talk “The importance of desert dust for weather and climate in the Mediterranean” given by Dr. Stavros Solomos.

The Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) is the Regional Support Office of the UN-SPIDER program for the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA).

ALTUS LSA successfully delivered the ATLAS 8 octacopter VTOL UAV and completed operator training for National Observatory Of Athens (N.O.A.).VTOL UAV was realized through KRIPIS – PROTEAS program and BEYOND Program is benefited by its operational activity.
