Project Management and Capacity Building
Mrs. Katerina Kyratzi holds a BSc in Geology & Geoenvironment from the University of Athens (2011-2015), an MSc in Geoinformatics from the National Technical University of Athens (2015-2017) and an MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business (2016-2018).
In 2018 she moved to Canada as an Erasmus+ exchange student to conduct research on her MBA thesis and then she extended her staying there working as a Business Development Intern at Terragon Environmental Technologies, a company developing innovative and small-scale technologies for waste and water treatment worldwide. For 2019-2020 she joined Workable, one of the fastest growing start-ups, and continued working for the US market in B2B tech sales, consistently hitting and over-achieving her sales targets, generating revenues, and gaining international experience and sector-wide knowledge in a fast paced business environment. Since the beginning of 2020, Katerina is part of the National Observatory of Athens’ BEYOND Centre of Excellence team, moving to a role where she combines her scientific and business knowledge. She participates in Capacity Building activities, EU-projects’ deliverables that BEYOND coordinates and proposals writing. Katerina is fully PRINCE2® Certified and is currently working as the Technical Project Manager of the ESPA project “EMPROS”. Her duties include leading and implementing WPs, writing deliverables, executing quality control and communicating with the project team (including external stakeholders).
